Calculating the exact position of the frets on musical instruments' keyboard isn't a very complex problem, but it's certainly a long and tedious procedure, whether you use an arithmetic, logarithmic, or geometric method.
For this reason, in the 1980s (of the last century) I wrote my first fretboard calculator, it was a "Lotus 123" file and I have been using it for more than thirty years.
Many years later I wrote it again in javascript to share it on my website, It's not an elegant script but it works
